We had three parts of the trip to Thailand
1. Trip in Chiang Mai
2. Student Exchange with Takpittayakhom School
3. Trip in Bangkok

We were looking for experiences, knowledge, information from many kind of activities. So whatever we were doing or have done were useful for us. We worked hard to get everything from what we see, hear, touch, taste, smell and plus we feel by our heart. :)

1. Trip in Chiang Mai. ( 19 January - 21 January 2019)

We arrived in Chiang Mai at 7 p.m, 19 January 2019 and we were picked up by the red car, rented by the owner of the hotel ( Sasima House). Arriving at Sasima House, I gave the rooms to the students then asked them to go outside to explore "Night Market in Chiang Mai to get the dinner for us". We went there on foot. Then the next day, we went around "Old City" in Chiang Mai to visit some temples

in the Three Kings Monument, Chiang Mai

in Wat Jetlin, Chiang Mai

in Wat Chedi Luang, Chiang Mai

2.  SMA NEGERI 1 PURWOSARI AND TAKPITTAYAKHOM SCHOOL
21 JANUARY - 27 JANUARY 2019

Takpittayakhom School is located in the Nothern of Thailand. The trip to Takpittayakhom School was the long journey for us. We had to transit for 2 times. The first transit was in Brunei, the second transit was in Bangkok then fly to Chiang Mai. We took the bus from Chiang Mai to Tak Province.

We were accepted by Takpittayakhom School on 21 January 2019 and we would stay in Tak till 27 January 2019.
In Takpittayakhom School, the students stayed with the host families. The students also learnt and joined cooking class, thai boxing class, science class, Thai class and English class. We also visited Sukhothai historical park, Bhumibol Dam, and museum and Ping river. We hunted the food in night market.

3. Trip in Bangkok ( 27 January - 29 January 2019)

Going home from Takpittayakhom, soon we went to Phisanulok airport for flying to Bangkok. We stayed in Bangkok for 2 nights. We went to Wat Arun, and Platinum to get the souvenir for our friends. We stayed in the house we rented from Airbnb. So we could save the money by cooking by ourselves. We could also wash our clothes.

We got so many experiences in this activities, not only we learnt the culture, language, tourism from Takpittayakhom School but also we could have experiences on some public transportation, visiting night market, some airports, making friendships etc....

This programme could improve the global competency of the students and gave the experiences in problem solving, critical thinking and cultural intelligence of students.
Those could not be got from the lessons in the class perfectly.
